Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5th January 1986 (pronounced as [diPIkaPaduko or [paDuko]) is an Indian acting actress in film. She is most often seen in Hindi-language films. It is among the most highly paid actresses in India Her awards includes three Filmfare Awards. Time Magazine named Padukone one of the top 100 influential people in the world in 2018. They also awarded her the TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone is the daughter of the badminton player Prakash Padukone. She was born in Bangalore and was born in Copenhagen. At the age of 13, Padukone competed in badminton championships, including national competitions. However, she left her career in the sport to pursue a new one as a fashion designer. Soon after, she was offered film roles and began her acting career in the year 2006, playing Aishwarya, the main character in the Kannada film, Aishwarya. Padukone then played the dual part of Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007) Her debut Bollywood film. This film won Padukone the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut. Padukone was recognized for her role as the lead in the love story Love Aaj Kal (2009) However, the film was followed by a brief setback.
