Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had numerous talents, including being able perform, direct, produce, write plays, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother is is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. In her early years, Anna appeared in several commercials. Then, in November 1999 Anna moved to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up making the move to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009 when they were married. Anna became a Jew at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. The couple was wed in a civil ceremony in December that year and then renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's relationship with Lauren was highlighted by CNN's top TV Couples ever, and was named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's fame on social media grew as a result of Anna's show.
